Daines Kapp Tees Off in Support of Stevenage Community Trust
Daines Kapp Insurance Brokers proudly took part in the Stevenage Community Trust Annual Charity Golf Day, held on 2nd July 2025, helping to raise an incredible £12,568 for vital community projects and support services across the region.
This well-organised event, hosted at a scenic Hertfordshire course and supported by over 24 teams and generous sponsors, was a day of spirited competition and meaningful fundraising. The funds raised are enough to provide heating for over 40 vulnerable households, Christmas gifts for more than 80 children, and essential support to local schools and charities.
Showing Up, Giving Back
As a proud hole sponsor, the Daines Kapp team were delighted to support such an impactful event. The day began with a hearty breakfast and a welcome briefing, followed by a shotgun start at 9:00am sharp. The course featured a variety of competitions, including Longest Drive, Beat the Pro, and the always-entertaining Yellow Ball Challenge.
Community and Camaraderie
While some of our swings were better than others, the Daines Kapp team enjoyed every moment on the fairways — whether teeing off, tackling the nearest-the-pin challenges, or simply soaking up the sunshine. But beyond the golf, it was about giving back to our local community, and we’re grateful for the chance to do exactly that.
Celebrating the Impact
The fantastic amount raised will make a tangible difference to lives in Hertfordshire, from warm homes and festive joy to school supplies and community resilience. Events like these remind us why we continue to support local charities as part of our mission at Daines Kapp — to protect what matters most, both in business and beyond.
Thank you to Stevenage Community Trust for hosting a fantastic day, and to everyone who played a part in making it such a success. We look forward to next year’s Stevenage Community Trust Charity Golf Day and continuing to support our local community wherever we can.
